dads have a funny way part 2

i just got off the phone from a marathon phone date with my parents. we talked for almost two and a half hours. it'd been forever since i'd actually talked with them (yes, shame on me...) and it was great. near the end of the conversation, we were talking about my plans to go hooping tomorrow and my mom recounted this story:

last sunday my away message said "lunch date to hooping" because i had a lunch date with a girl friend of mine and then was going to head to the park for some hoop fun.

apparently my dad saw it and asked my mom, "what kind of restaurant is Hoo Ping?"

oh dad, you're the best.
