☆ヒロインメイク:マスカラ リムーバー
(heroine make: mascara remover)
this mascara remover was recommended to me by a teacher at school who wears three kinds of mascara. at the same time. japanese girls seem to love their mascara and she said she's tried a lot of different makeup removers but none work as well as this one. she now swears by it. it looks like a mascara tube, and it has a wand just like mascara, but it doesn't have a brush on the end. instead the wand is a bit fatter and has ridges that hold the gel/liquid remover. you move it up your eyelashes and the gel from the wand latches onto your lashes. it works best if you put it on and then go about your business for 5-10 minutes before wiping your eyes with a soft towel. mascara doesn't stand a chance!

☆CLINIQUE repairwear: intensive night lotion
i had a small trial tub of intensive night cream that i've been using lately and i decided i liked it enough to spend the money on a regular size. i finally found a clinique counter in ikebukuro and upon inspection, discovered that the night cream is for dryer skin and that there was also an oil free lotion version. i splurged and my skin felt great last night when i put it on post shower. (sidenote: i felt completely out of place at the clinique counter. i felt like everyone else noticed that i didn't "belong" in the expensive, adult beauty department.)

☆L'OCCITANE Petal-soft hand cream: Cherry Blossom
i bought the solid perfume tin from l'occitane several months ago while shopping with Chelsea. the tin is a perfect throw-in-your-purse item and i fell in love with their cherry blossom scent. it's not too flowery or girly so i went ahead and bought the hand lotion too. i haven't used it yet, but i tried it out in the store and couldn't stop smelling my hand the rest of the night.
