Another great list!!!! I will continue to work on my 101 things this year but I have a couple of resolutions also.

I can perhaps tell you about some great Japanese cooking sites I read- they have some great recipes.

I am curious about the not appropriate for web sharing secret number 17!!!!

There is a bike loop when the roads close on Sunday`s near the imperial palace, not sure how far it goes but you could check it out as it might be a safe way to bike across tokyo.

Which new foreign country are you thinking about? I will also be studying for JLPT level 1 this year- when I return to Japan maybe we could meet up and be study buddies.

Can`t wait to see your inspiration board. I had one in Tokyo but had to pull it apart when we moved- I will make another when we return. They are always fun. Colourful postcards are always great!

I thought your camera was a digital SLR? If not then WOW because your photos are awesome and I just assumed that is what you use. By the way to you have a flickr account??

You will quit teaching? When? Hope all goes well!

Okay am blabbering but just wanted to say also that you might want to try delicious for your links/favourites folders etc- I have found it useful!

Happy New Year! All the best for 2009!

thank you lulu!

i would definitely be interested in some japanese recipe sites. something EASY though! haha.

secret number 17 is...well...a secret. sorry! ;)

i think the roads, for the most part, even in the heart of tokyo, are pretty safe for bicyclists, but i will have to do some research before heading out. i will look into the area around the imperial palace because i feel like it'd be a waste just to bike straight through without enjoying the scenery too!

as for the foreign country, i have no plans! i'd like to see india or somewhere in southeast asia, since it's just across the way, but i'd be up for somewhere like egypt or maybe spain? i dunno, it's completely undecided!

yes! let's be study buddies!!!

i'll be sure to post a photo of my inspiration board(s). definitely.

my camera is not an slr; it's just one of those little pocket point and shoot cameras. i love it to death and think it takes great photos (thanks for thinking so too!) but i would like to have a "nicer" camera as an option, too. for as many photos as i have/take, it's almost embarrassing to say that i don't have a flickr account. maybe THAT should be on my list! haha

as for quitting my job...i'm finishing out the school year (through the end of march) and then will be taking some time off, hopefully working on the top of mt fuji for the summer, and then looking for a new job in the later half of the year. *fingers crossed

i VERY briefly glanced at the delicious website but will have to look into it more when i have time to really look at it. i just need to find something that works and stick with it, even if that just means being more conscious of where i'm "saving" my bookmarks when i make them.

you can "blabber" as much as you want in my comment section!! in fact, please do! ;)

here's to a wonderful year!!!☆

Come on...you can share no. 17 with me, just me, no one else has to know! ;)

I like your list...especially the hoopy bit of course! So well organized.

I would love to go to Cirque du Soleil...let's do it!

"learn to like sushi" ha ha that is hilarious! Life is pretty cool without it.
