after dinner, we walked toward hibiya park, and happened upon a pet store. it made me want a dog even more than usual.
they had a baby corgie (melt) and a french bulldog that was all white except for a black spot around one eye and one on his back leg (thigh?)
oh my gosh, so cute. except for their price tags that is.
i used to think $350 was a lot for a dog (when we bought our dog, and also when we sold a litter of puppies she had) but...$2500???!!!!!

I'm not in Japan, of course, but I do understand a bit of what you're saying. Three years ago we paid 1800 for our little yorkie and then, because she's little, sh promptly cost 1000 in medical expenses. It sounds completely stupid when I say that I'm happy as can be to shell out anything for this dog, but it's true. People and their pets: idiots.
