spring break 24

i fell victim to my usual early morning wake up schedule. waking up at 6:00am for weeks ruins your ability to really sleep in. i woke up at 8:30 and couldn't go back to bed. i cooked eggs and toast for breakfast then wasted time before going to meet Sky. we sat and talked for a couple hours over juice then went to karaoke for two hours. i tried a couple "new" japanese songs but failed miserably! she can sing quite a few english songs and tried some new ones too. it seems obvious, but it's best to save those "trial runs" for friends as opposed to the coworker karaoke nights.

after saying goodbye to Sky, i headed over to Chelsea's for a homecooked dinner. on my way out, she gave me a printer, a plant she got from work on her last day and this amazing moroccan seasoning that i can't wait to use. (by the way, why would you give a potted plant to someone leaving the country as a farewell gift?) i am becoming the queen of hand-me-down furniture, household goods, and other miscellaneous items! i realized i'm able to cross off a few things off this list too now.
