school daze: graduation

today was the middle school graduation. since i work at a junior/senior high school, it's mostly just a formality. a ceremony marking the end of mandatory education and a moving from the middle school building into the main high school building. i didn't see any students crying but i think some parents did. i feel a little bad, but i was just kind of indifferent to the whole thing.
