i went to loft and franc franc today, in search of curtains*.
i came home with this:
and 100 blank postcards, 3 sheets of cute car stickers and two new pens.
of course i should probably wait until we officially sign the lease before i write any "i've moved and here's my new address" postcards. but i'll be ready!
either way, i now own a really cute hiragana stamp set. :)
*where do people buy their curtains?
how do you commit to a color or pattern?
why is shopping for curtains so hard?
help!

we got ours - the ones with the big red flowers in the dining area at Loft - they were expensive but they made them to size.
Our bedroom curtains i got in the UK, ebi-kuns are from Ikea, I made the spare room ones and all the others are ikea blinds.
I would wait until you have your furniture in first then decide what would go with it.
I bought really expensive order made ones when we built the house - big fail. Should have got cheap ones first. But then unless Ro goes round wiping dirty hands on things yours at least should stay a hell of a lot cleaner than ours!! The kid's 'black-out' curtains I got at a home store for about 4000 yen a set. NAFCO 2-one style (if you even have it) has a selection of nicer styles.
Happy curtain shopping - and postcard making. Love the Hiragana stamp set. Glad there isn't a LOFT in 200km radius as I'm sure I would never be able to stick to my actual list in that shop :)
I got my curtains relatively cheaply order made through one of the places on Rakuten. Super easy - although picking colours was a bit of a crap shoot, they were a slightly different shade than I had expected but all was well as I ended up liking that better in the end!
