the 2011 list: february

9. continue ds budget book
done and looking grim.  :(

12. make weekly meal plans and shop accordingly for 10 weeks (not consecutive OK)
feb 27th was day one of week one.  Ro found a 6 day meal plan online that we're following.  we'll see how it goes...

14. wear a dress or skirt 4 times a month
i think i was 0/4 this month.

15. buy a queen bed AND an actual frame
yes, it's fabulous.

22. try a new recipe at least once a month
i made sesame chicken the other night.

24. [changed to] swim laps at the gym at least twice a week (post move)
joined the gym and went 3 times last week

29. move AND send out "new address" postcards
moved and postcards mostly made.  a few additions and then i'll send them.

30. save money (starting goal of 60,000yen per month, average)
definitely did NOT happen this month.  moving is an expensive bitch.

I am VERY impressed with your savings goal! I save 10,000 a month, which technically isn't saved, because we always go over budget. But what I do with it, is put it in a seperate account and treat it like a bill. That seems to work. I'm very interested in the meal plan!
