twenty five for twenty ten: october

1 hula hoop for 30 minutes 3 times a week
oh, fail.

3 balcony overhaul
i don't know what it was, but i got the urge to clean my balcony the other day. i bought a scrub-brush broom and it's looking (comparatively) beautiful! far from "overhauled" but definitely a step closer. i need to get rid of the dirt left over from my balcony vegetable garden two (2!!) summers ago and decide whether or not to just throw away that suitcase that's been there for over two years (ha!). 

4 start an etsy shop/sell something i made
start and sell goal both done!

5 make a budget and stick to it (continue ds budget book)
i have a lot of receipts in my wallet to input still...

7 make 4 things i can actually wear out of the apartment
i made my halloween costume (and Ro's), which isn't exactly what i had in mind by "4 things to wear out" but i did wear it out of the apartment. :P

8 make two quilts (from start to finish)
i've got a couple "sets" of fabric that i want to turn into quilts, but i can't seem to decide on a design and actually start cutting into them.

10 get a massage (or two!)
Ro and i went to this place in asakusa. i will be going again. soon, hopefully.

20 vacuum and wipe floors once a week
i'd say every other week happened with the vacuuming and once a month with the wiping.  not great, but better than nothing.

21 read a book once a month
nope.

22 mail a letter to someone once a month
didn't happen.

23 call home at least once a month
sorry mom and dad!

25 keep nails looking nice in an effort to quit biting my nails
this was a serious fail until the last days of october, when they began looking decent.  unfortunately, i've discovered, 6 months of gel nails didn't break the habit (though they looked nice) and i'm still a nail biter.  :(
