sick. again.

is it possible to get sick while taking antibiotics?!

because i just did. 

it's not as painful as the sore throat i had just 3 weeks ago, but i'm feeling crappy and have the ever so attractive mask to prove it.

my throat started hurting yesterday, quickly followed by a headache and just feeling "stiff" all over.  one of my coworkers suggested i wear a mask to help from getting a dry throat, which often leads to a sore throat.  especially now that the temperature has suddenly dropped...

as much as i think they are ridiculous looking, i do think they help keep your throat from getting dry and, as i found out while walking (in the freezing cold rain) today, a la mask, it totally keeps your face warm.

now if we could just do something about the yucky-sterile-mask smell.





p.s. yesterday was my "friday" of a five day work week.  i'm nervous about working 5-6 days a week for most of november and december and am hoping i can just survive the next two months without getting sick.

p.p.s. i've had dreams about work for the last 5 nights.  they are so real and stressful.  i don't remember the details, but i know i was crying in one and then i woke up.  we've been so busy in the last couple months and i never feel like i can get everything done, or even have time to breath.  and sometimes i wonder if i'm just not cut out for my job.  :(

p.p.p.s. speaking of jobs, THE job i was looking for 12 months ago (when i was unemployed and loving it) is available now.  not to say that i would get it, or love it more (or less) than my current job, which i do enjoy, but...  sigh.  oh life.
