i really want to carve a jack o'lantern.
but i refuse to pay over 4000yen for a pumpkin.
it makes me bitter toward halloween.
i am tentatively declaring that
october and november in tokyo
make me miss ohio (and its brillant fall) the most.

have you tried costco? apparently they are really cheap there!
as much as i love costco, they gave me a bit of a
runaround last year and i ended up hosting a pumpkinless halloween party.
it was only mid october and they were already stocking christmas decorations and had no pumpkins left. i'm guessing it's too late for a costco pumpkin, sadly. :(
maybe next year...
