obligatory apology wanted

i just got a "we'll see you tomorrow for your nail appointment" with sunday's date and time (the sunday date and time is correct).

they always send out an email 24 hours in advance. but my appointment isn't tomorrow and it said "we'll see you tomorrow."

so, i emailed and said, "thanks for always sending out these day-before emails, but my appointment isn't tomorrow, it's the day after the day after tomorrow*, right? please confirm."

i expected a "oh we're terribly sorry for the mistake. yes, you are booked for sunday and we'll see you then" but instead i got, "you are already booked for sunday. (no shit sherlock.) if you'd like to cancel or make a change, please access here."

have i been so spoiled by overly apologetic japan that this exchange seems somehow presumptuous and rude??



*is there a simpler way to say this in english? japanese actually has a word for it. tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and the day after the day after tomorrow. for all 3 times you probably use it, right?
