happy early birthday

while shopping with Ro last weekend, we wandered into the Diesel shop in ginza (he's a big fan) and it was love at first sight when i saw this wallet.  i hadn't exactly been comparing wallets but i also hadn't seen anything that jumped out at me like this one.  and since mine was stolen, i was sorely in need of a new one (the change purse jammed full of bills and coins, receipts, and train tickets wasn't cutting it anymore).

 

but i didn't buy it.  i can't make big decisions like that on such short notice.  i decided to think about it.  and then Ro added that if that was the one i wanted, we could come back and he'd get it for me for my birthday.  so this weekend came, and i was still wallet-less.  sunday afternoon i said let's go and get that wallet.  he grinned...

 

and pulled out a Diesel bag out of his bag.  he'd gone ahead and bought it before coming over.  what a sweetheart.

 

and while i'm sure they're not, i like to think everyone is looking and admiring my wallet whenever i pull it out!
