like i said before, the blog is getting neglected. (silly boy.)
but that's okay, i'm just weening you for mt fuji, when the blog will suddenly go silent for 7 weeks. maybe i'll try to schedule some posts, but i imagine that if i can't do real time posting, than ahead of time posting is out of the question. (again, silly boy.)
anyway, i took the japanese proficiency test today. level one. i think i failed. (how's that for positive thinking??) i should have studied more, and don't really have any excuse (cough silly boy cough) and the fact that i got tired of studying and was lazy. anyway, we'll just have to wait and see when the results come...in mid september.
on my way home, Ro texted saying he'd left his razor (uh...blush) at my apartment yesterday. so he stopped by to get it and we ended up walking to asakusa and ate at this hole in the wall but delicious nepalese restaurant. lots of curry (and not too spicy), soft homemade nan, and great mango lassi. will be returning customers.
i'v actually got quite a few pictures from the last couple weeks to be made into real posts so maybe this week, if i have time.
starting tuesday, i'm working for 11 days at my old school for their summer english program (links from this time last year - re reading them makes me a little nervous, but also confident that without all the other stress of teaching/grading/etc. i'll be much more in control and not stressed by the whole thing) they bring over 12 canadian college kids to be teachers for 120 middle schoolers and i'm going to be the college student coordinator - a job that was non-existent, but needed, last year. it'll be a full 11 days (including a 3 day stay in tokyo) i'll be trying to multi-task and get some data entry done as well, since i've been seriously slacking on that as well. doh. and i need to be packing my mt. fuji stuff to send off ahead. the summer program ends on july 17th, and i will be going to gotemba that night. the next two weeks will get away from me before i know it.
